Learn About Our Team
History
The flight team entered into their first NIFA meet in 1951. Since then, we have gone on to win a multitude of awards. The flight team has won the Bendix Trophy nine times and the Grover Loening Trophy twenty-one times. The Flying Aggies have placed in all but two regional competitions. On nine occasions, a Flying Aggie has been selected as the nation’s Outstanding Intercollegiate Male, and six female Aggies have been named the nation’s Outstanding Intercollegiate Female. Three Flying Aggies have also received the Women’s Achievement Award for their significant contribution to aviation.

Flight Team Practices
There are all-team practices on Sundays. In addition, flight team members will meet during the week to work on ground-based events.
